How to Increase Social Sharing on Twitter

You've heard of cat-nap, well Surgey our mascot cat sometimes engage in cat-mope as well!

What's wrong Surgey?  Here's his recent rant on Twitter:

Ok, I got the gist. You're a spoilt moggy you are!

Surgey: "Ya! Blame Youtube, Tumblr, Google+ ...."

Surgey, quit moping. You've got me!

Surgey: "That's why I'm moping!"

Relax Surgey, here's How you can Increase your Social Sharing on Twitter.

TIP: How to Increase Social Sharing on Twitter:

Use the Embed Tweet Option of your desired tweet (can be done without logging into Twitter) by clicking on the 3 dots icon:
  •  ...  {located below each tweet next to the star (favorite) icon} then
  • click on EMBED TWEET  -  your code will become highlighted,
  • copy and paste this code onto the html side of a new post of your blog or
• social-blog-hybrid platform (one with good, sharing options)

such as Tumblr. Then use their share buttons to further and easily share the original tweet - a two-step process but worth the effort if it's part of your social-sharing strategy, especially for those 'special' or 'VIP' tweets.

Alternatively, you can link directly without embedding the full code by selecting just the line of code between the open and close inverted commas as highlighted in yellow below (a tad fiddly but doable and more versatile ie. you can post this link on any social site easily. It will take you back to the source within the tweet and not the tweet itself):

Here is an example of an Embed Tweet Code:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en-gb"><p>The 10 Most Massively Popular <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Smartphones?src=hash">#Smartphones</a> You’ve Never Heard Of <a href="https://t.co/mTw4wzTcF1">https://t.co/mTw4wzTcF1</a></p>&mdash; Surge Your Profits (@SurgeYorProfits) <a href="https://twitter.com/SurgeYorProfits/statuses/461134132202835969">April 29, 2014</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Here is what it looks like when you have Embedded the Tweet:

Note that you can embed any tweet you like and without logging into Twitter.
